报告摘要：

At present, the international metrological units are facing the major (perhaps the final) revision, which will be announced by the end of this year and will be put into effect in May next year. The biggest change was to replace the mass unit definition of the original kilogram used for hundreds of years with a physical constant (Planck constanth). In this report, the reporter will introduce the historical background of the birth of the international unit system and its current status, the significance of precision measurement, and the research of the Avogadro constants measurement.

目前，国际度量衡单位面临着最大（也许是最终）的改订，计划今年年底公布，明年5月开始实施。其中最大的改变是将用了上百年的千克原器的质量单位定义改为用物理常数（普朗克常数h）代替。在本报告中，报告人将介绍国际单位制诞生的历史背景和现状，精密测量的意义，以及报告人参与的阿伏伽德罗常数测量的工作情况。

报告人简介：

张小威高级研究员，1978年入学北京大学物理系，1979年被教育部公派去日本留学，1989年东京大学应用物理专业博士毕业。同年到日本文部省高能加速器研究机构（原日本文部省高能物理学研究所）任职，从助理教授一直到教授，近40年来长期从事同步辐射及其应用研究。2015年应聘回国任中国科学院高能物理研究所高级研究员，负责国家十二五规划高能光源的预研工作以及国家十三五规划高能光源的建设。
